DINNARTEC · MARK · V1.0 · CANONICAL PROPOSAL

The mark.
A node and
its lines.

Five spokes radiating from a single filled point. Each spoke names one of the five pillars Dinnartec is built on. The center is the company itself, one node on a lattice of dots that continues, infinite, beyond the frame.

WHAT IT IS
A radial mark. Five spokes, near-equal lengths, uniform 8u stroke with square caps. Filled circle at the convergence.
WHY IT EXISTS
To render the brand thesis as geometry: Dinnartec is a node in a matrix of infinite connections.
HOW IT'S BUILT
Five angles set by the order of the letters in the name. Lengths vary slightly: harmony, not symmetry. Drawn in §05.
WHERE IT LIVES
On the dot-grid lattice. Every Dinnartec surface (homepage, product, signage, business card) already carries that lattice under its skin.

01 · ThesisTHE FIRST CLAIM

Before any drawing, a position.

Dinnartec is not a company drawn on a canvas.
It is an activation of the canvas.

The dot-grid lattice exists before the company and outside any single page. The mark is what happens when five points of that lattice (the five pillars of the name) converge on a node and declare a position.

The mark is not the brand. The lattice is. The mark is how the brand introduces itself.

02 · The latticeTHE CANVAS BEFORE THE BRAND

Every Dinnartec surface carries this pattern: a regular field of nodes, each waiting to be activated.

THE LATTICE · BARENO ACTIVATION · ALL NODES DORMANT
THE LATTICE · ACTIVATEDONE NODE LIT · FIVE LINES DECLARED
PRINCIPLE
The mark is one of the lattice's own dots, named.
The center of the mark is a single filled node, visually identical to the dots of the background lattice, just a little louder. The spokes are the relationships that node has chosen to declare. The rest of the lattice continues, dormant, beyond the frame.
03 · The nameFIVE LETTERS · FIVE PILLARS

«Dinnartec» is not invented. It is composed: five fragments of the name spell five pillars of the company. The mark renders that composition in geometry.

05 · ConstructionHOW TO DRAW IT

The mark resolves to five numbers per spoke and one number for the node. Anyone with a vector tool, a protractor and these specifications can reconstruct the canonical mark.

FIVE STEPS
01

Establish the canvas.

240u square viewBox. Center at (120, 120), itself a node on the lattice.

02

Mark the five angles.

Measured from north, clockwise. 0°, 88°, 153°, 243°, 303°. Fixed by the order of the letters in the name.

03

Project each spoke to its length.

Five lengths in the canonical mark: 92, 82, 88, 78, 85u. Range 14u, harmony with subtle differentiation, not dramatic hierarchy. The angles already encode the letter order; the lengths stay close to keep the silhouette unified.

04

Stroke each spoke.

8u uniform stroke. Square caps (strokeLinecap='square'). No tapers, no curves.

05

Place the node.

A filled circle at (120, 120). Radius 14.4u (stroke × 1.8): large enough to read as a discrete node where the spokes converge, small enough not to compete with them.

CLEARSPACE · THE MARK NEEDS ROOM
CLEARSPACE · 1× THE LONGEST SPOKE92u BUFFER FROM EVERY EDGE
CLEARSPACE · 92u BUFFER

No company, ever, inside the buffer.

Clearspace = the length of the longest spoke (92u). No type, no edge, no other graphic element may enter that radius. The mark needs the lattice around it to read as «a node on a lattice» rather than «a glyph in a layout».

Exceptions: the dot-grid pattern itself may continue inside the clearspace. It is the substrate, not a competing element.

06 · The storyA FOUR-CHAPTER BRIEF

If you have ninety seconds, this is the brand. The mark renders this story in geometry; the geometry, in turn, makes the story memorable.

I
CHAPTER I

The canvas

A regular field of nodes. Quiet, infinite, waiting.

Before the company, before any product or page, there is a lattice: a grid of identical dots that has no center, no edge, no preferred direction. The lattice is what Dinnartec stands on; it is not what Dinnartec makes.

Every Dinnartec surface (homepage, deck, business card, app icon, signage) carries that lattice under its skin. It shows up most explicitly in the dot-grid pattern of the home hero. It shows up implicitly in every alignment of every component of the design system.

The company is a tenant of the lattice, not its author.

II
CHAPTER II

The pillars

The name decomposes into five disciplines.

The word «Dinnartec» is not invented. It is composed: five fragments of the name name five pillars of the company.

Development builds: the arm that makes physical contact with reality, where the lattice materializes. Innovation invents: the arm that opens new points in the lattice where there was nothing before. Adaptation adjusts: the arm that learns from its surroundings and reconfigures the node. Revolution transforms: the arm that moves entire structures, not just a single point. Technology conducts: the arm that is the medium itself, the fiber that carries signal between nodes.

The five are not values, in the soft sense. They are columns: load-bearing, structural. Remove any one and the company isn’t Dinnartec anymore.

III
CHAPTER III

The convergence

Five rays, one origin, near-equal reach.

Each pillar leaves the canvas at its own angle and travels its own slight distance. The angles are dictated by the order of the letters in the name. The lengths vary subtly. Development at 92 units reaches farthest; Revolution at 78 units, closest.

The differences are small enough to read as harmony, large enough to deny pure symmetry. Pillars are not interchangeable; nor are they ranked dramatically. The mark refuses both equality and theatre.

Where the five spokes meet, a small filled circle forms the node. The node is the company itself, made declarative.

IV
CHAPTER IV

The mark

One node names itself. The lattice continues.

The completed mark is what you see when one specific node of the lattice (Dinnartec) declares its five connections. Five lines emanate from a single point of origin; the point is filled, the lines are uniform.

Outside the frame, the lattice continues. Other nodes wait, dormant. Other connections could form. The mark is one moment of activation in a system that can hold infinitely many.

That is the whole brief.

07 · Sub-brandsTHREE HUES ON THE MATRIX

Solutions, Factory and Labs are the commercial verticals of Dinnartec. Each speaks for one pillar of the name; each wears the brand mark in its own hue. The mark adopts the vertical's color end to end, not just on a single spoke.

RULE · BRAND HUE
Each vertical wears its hue. The whole mark adopts it.
The hue is structural, not decorative. Solutions never wears cobalt; Factory never wears steel. When the mark dresses for a vertical, every spoke and the central node take the same colour the silhouette stays intact, only the ink shifts.

09 · ScaleHONEST READING AT EVERY SIZE

The mark survives compression. From canonical 240px down to a 14px favicon, the silhouette holds because it was always a single ink mass: five strokes meeting at a point, no inter-element negative space to lose.

STROKE COMPENSATION

The 8u canonical stroke is correct only at canonical render size. At smaller sizes the stroke must scale up in viewBox units to maintain visual weight. Standard ladder: 240px = 6u · 120px = 8u · 64px = 10u · 40px = 12u · 24px = 16u · 14px = 22u. The center node tracks the stroke at radius = stroke × 1.8.

10 · ApplicationsTHE MARK IN CONTEXT

App icons across surfaces, business cards, browser favicon. The asymmetry of the spokes is preserved at every scale; the node anchors the mark wherever it lands.

11 · Anti-patternsWHAT NEVER HAPPENS TO THE MARK

The mark is robust because the rules around it are sharp. These eight treatments are forbidden, not because they’re ugly, because they break the brand thesis.

◊ DON'T · ROTATE

Angles are mapped to letters. Rotating reorders the pillars.

◊ DON'T · DISTORT

The 240u canvas is square. Stretching breaks the angle math.

◊ DON'T · DROP SHADOW

No shadows anywhere in the DS. The mark uses hairlines and ink, full stop.

◊ DON'T · ADD A RING

A concentric ring around the node is dashboard cliché. The node stands alone.

◊ DON'T · MULTI-COLOR THE SPOKES

The mark adopts one hue at a time, never one colour per spoke. When a sub-brand dresses the mark, every line takes the same ink.

◊ DON'T · ROUND THE CAPS

Square caps are the DS signature. Round caps soften the geometry into something else.

◊ DON'T · GRADIENT FILL

No gradients on strokes. The lattice is uniform; the mark inherits that uniformity.

◊ DON'T · REPLACE THE NODE

The center is a filled circle. Squares, stars, hexagons all break the «node on the lattice» reading.

12 · SpecificationsEVERY NUMBER · ONE PLACE
